Marilyn's Story
Life
Went to college at Univ of Scranton, PA, then grad school in North Miami where I met my husband. We went to medical school together at Univ of New England, Maine. Fun especially b/c we got to travel to a new site (usually a different state) every month for 2 yrs. Got married in Maine 2 weeks before graduation, then started residency in Internal Medicine at Berkshire medical Center in MA. Then moved to Gainesville, FL to do a fellowship but had a baby (July 2000) and complications so didn't start f...Expand for more
ellowship for 6 months. (Did luckily pass the medicine boards.) By then, my husband wanted to take a job in Fort Worth, TX, so we moved to Texas. Had another baby in 2003 and right now I'm home with the kids, a boy and a girl, ages 8 and 5. My husband currently works as a hospitalist. We love Texas - have had offers to go back up North or to Florida but haven't been able to leave. Haven't made any reunions yet - was usually traveling or taking boards or call. I hope to make it back for the next one.
