Marilyn's Story
I married Charles (Chuck) Leatherwood in 1961. We moved to San Pedro, where we lived for 30 years. Raised 3 daughters. Have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
Graduated from University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.
I worked in banking for a number of years. Changed career course and went to work for Logicon, an aerospace company. Became a Quality Assurance Engineer for Software Development. Officially retired 2 years ago.
Love to travel, spend time with family and friends, quilt, read, walk, and go to concerts, museums, and theatre.
Spent most vacations while raising kids in lake areas as we were avid boaters. Sold our last boat a couple of years ago.
Have traveled to Scotland, Ireland, northern England. Many of our current travels are to Mexico (go twice a year), numerous US destinations, including Hawaii, and we spend a lot of time in Big Bear.
Have been ini Huntington Beach, CA for 13 years and live a block from the ocean.
