Marilyn's Story
Hello,
Life has certainly been a long road!
After graduation, I continued to work in my field... Metal Art, and then illness (Hong Kong Flu) led me down a different road. It was a time of change and uncertainty with the war and all, and I just went with the flow. I do know that life became stable with my first marriage and the birth of my first son, and everything changed... I was a mom.
And so the story goes. I have three sons now all grown up. I'm still very much a mom.
But, I have other news. At the age of 39 I went back to school and finally got my degree/s. I have a BA in History and a BS in Secondary Education... which I do not use. I work in a Lumber mill because it pays well and has incredible benefits. I have been at the mill for 13 years and will probably ret...Expand for more
ire from there. BUT I will never lose my education, and for that I am very proud... I graduated with honors!
I am currently happily married, and that is another story! We met on-line and it is indeed a success story. We share SO many interests and it is amazing that I found the one man who could fit in so nicely with my life. He is disabled now... he had a stroke 4 years ago, but we are happy.
Isn't it funny how life leads us down these roads?
I have a VERY creative side and I use it for my little tree houses. They give me such joy. They won't let me post my website, but you can find me at weetreehome dot com and see what I mean.
My husband and I have the most incredible garden! It is another dream we share, I will post a photo.
