Marilyn's Story
After I graduated from BYU (Social Work, Psychology) (never actually had a career in it), I served an LDS mission in north Italy. (my very first apartment there, YURTH was on the mailbox. Martin Yurth's name was "immortalized", in Milano, Italy lol). (edited 2012) I returned to Europe, summer 2008, for the first time since then, touring western Europe for 2 weeks. We have 4 sons and a daughter. The oldest son is a brain surgeon! All the boys have graduated from college, and our daughter is in her last year of college. ia, Africa, Australia, America. (1 went to teach English in China, decided to settle there for awhile; 1 went on study abroad in Africa; 1 on a medical Fellowship in Australia; 2 doing "normal" things in America). Only one is married, one baby granddaughter. I enjoy the singer Josh Groban, and when he's on tour, I go to concerts in several cities/states. Last tour I got a picture taken with him backstage. Those concerts led to an interest in photography, and I've become "known" around his fan club, because of my pictures. My husband recently retired (can't believe we're old enough for that).
