Life My Job I travel a lot and lived in Washington, DC for a couple years. I've been in Alaska since 1984 and was involved in oil transportation issues, especially related to the Exxon Valdez oil spill. ic utilities up here. I retired in 2014 and now I still travel a lot and I'm having a ball. A friend and I bought a condo in Maui. We've completely remodeled it and put it on the vacation rental market. Our hope is that it pays for itself and provides a nice place for us to get away a couple times a year.
