Marilyn's Story
I lived in White City and went from Grade 1-12 in White City/Ft. Pierce.
After graduating from Dan McCarty High School, I did an intense study of the Bible, doing much research to find out the answers to the many questions I had about God & his purpose for mankind & the earth! Filled with great joy & enthusiiasm over my new found knowledge I became a volunteer missionary in order to share with others what I had learned!
For nine years I enoyed the privilege conducting free home Bible studies with people of all different religions on the island of Bermuda. Later on I did missionary work in British Virgin Islands and then later moved to island of Hispanola, Dominican Republic where I have been for the last 22 years teaching the Bible to the Dominican people as well as the Haitian immigrates, ejnjoying a very richly reward...Expand for more
ing way of life-- helping people to know how to cope with the many depressing things happening in the world & the sad situations that people often find themselves in. Sharing the Bible hope brings much happiness to so many people as you can just imagine...after the horrors of what happened in Haiti! And the poverty that exists here on this entire island! So that is what I do.
To support myself I have a little homey bed and breakfast for visitors to the island.
My hobbies are reading, doing research, raising Rottweilers, Yorkies for fun, and gardening! Along with swimming, scuba diving, and many other things. If you remember me I'd love to hear from you & about others that we may know mutually! John Goodwin? Kay Smith? Julie Tuttle? Georgia Mae Kasnie & many others I went from first grade thru 12th with????
Love, Marilyn
