Marilyn's Story
Left Round Lake in 1972 and spent two years in school in Charlottesville, VA (where some cousins lived). Returned to Illinois, but lived in Chicago for 13 years (bhrrrrr!) going to Columbia College and working in health care publishing.
Returned to the east coast, living in Virginia again and then in Maryland (where the jobs were better). Married a sewer rat; dumped him.

d 9 miles from historic downtown Charleston. Have two dogs (adopted of course). Left publishing and worked as an executive assistant for 11 years. Unemployed now; laid off last year.
Michael and I love to travel and have been to Europe twice.
He has his own consulting business. So, we have been fortunate, but I miss working (never thought I'd say that!)
Still keep in touch with RLHS grads (Mary Lewandowski, Aggie Wallace, Edna Smith, Ruth Simmons) on a regular basis.
