Marilyn's Story
You know it's really hard to write about yourself. So I'll start somewhere in the middle. I went to the school of hard nocks. Nothing came easy. It took me 3 mariages and 5 children to find mr. right. We've been together now for 10 years and are very happy with each other. We currently are living in WI. with my oldest daughter and her husband. He is ready to retire from the Army in the next couple of years. At that time we will be purchasing a few acres for hunting and fishing. So as of right now anything is possible. My relatives swear that I'm part Gypsy. I never stay in the same place for long. I have a son and his wife who live in Ca I have a daughter and her husband who live in Tx. And I have 2 daughters who are currently living in GA I have 8 grand children. I haven't kept in touch with anyone I went to school with. So I just thought it would be nice to see who is still around.
I crochet blankets. Some I've sold for $l00.00 I really don't get angry so rarely do I need to blow off steam. I love watching NCIS and criminal minds
If I was to have a hero It would have to be my dad. He remaried at 31 to a woman who had 3 children. So...Expand for more
him with 4 and her with 3 we had quit the family. He worked 2 and sometimes 3 jobs in order to take care of all of us. He is still with us at the ripe young age of 84. My dad and mom now live in WA
Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. However my biggest surprise is that there is happiness as long as your able to see the light thru all the stuff there is in the world.
I have to admit that I have learned an awful lot from my kids. One of my daughters has a child that is Autistic. He is definately a Godsend. The patience and understanding that she has is unremarkable. One of my daughters is married to a Man who is ready to retire from the army. When life gets ruff you stick it out. And you never give up.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to all of my kids, then spend the rest on a charity for autistic children, my home and my church.
I worked for Stewarts Leather in Vancouver, Wa. I really wished my boss wasn't so greedy and always had to make of buck even off her employees. She taught me not to be so trusting. And if you want something you have to go and get it. Cause no one is going to just give it to you. You have to earn it.
