Marilyn's Story
Geesh. An awful lot came and went since 1969. Suffice it to say I've been a high school drama teacher, a Lexis/Nexis sales exec, a radio announcer and done TV and radio commercials, have two great kids in college* and am now the Media & PR Director at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown MA (alma mater of "the Miracle Worker" Annie Sullivan).
My husband, Rick Beyer, makes history documentaries and writes books. We live in historic Lexington, Massachusetts. (Yeah, Paul Revere r...Expand for more
ode through here that one time in 1775.) On weekends, we are costumed guides for the historical society.
*My daughter, Bobbie, is a senior at Tulane University in New Orleans. That means she has evacuated the city twice: Once for Katrina on Frosh Orientation Day, recently for Gustav. My son, Andy, is a sophomore at CU Boulder, sings in a rock band and an a cappella group and is studying to be a writer. He skis. Alot.
Life is grand and never stops surprising us.
