Marilyn's Story
Marilyn is from Columbus, Mississippi. Marilyn's schools include Lee High School. Marilyn later attended MSCW (Music, Microbiology, Sociology) . Druid City Hospital, Tuscaloosa, AL for medical technology. After working in medical labs. I retired from the Columbus Light and Water Department as chemist/lab tech.

My husband of 44 years, Lynn Slayton, passed away in November of 2011. Lynn retired from Emerson here in Murfresboro in June 2011, thought he had a kidney stone in August, then kidney cancer so surgery was scheduled in August . Lynn was never well enough to survive surgery he died with respiratory failure brought on by lymphoma. He never came home from the hospital. I miss him so much.
Through it all the Lord has been so good to me. All of my needs have been met on time every time. I do not understand but I know the Lord has a plan and I trust him to be in charge.
