Marilyn's Story
Married (and still am) in early 1964-I have two daughters, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
I am presently living in Florida, but visit Michigan every once in a while to see the in-laws at Houghton Lake. I would love to move back to somewhere with seasons.
After years of sewing, I got into quilting and have found my passion. I belong to two quilting guilds and love every minute I have a needle in my hand.

just a boring old grandma and a homebody, who makes quilts, oh my how things have changed.
My current age is 64. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be DEAD. I was so completely clueless.
I live in Florida, I wear shorts, tee shirts and sandals most of the time. Style would not be my middle name!
I share my home with a husband and 2 cats, which I find fun, most of the time.
I got a second place for my age group in a 15K linline rollerblading race. Of course there were only two of us in that age group!!!
If I hadn't been dyslexic (there was no help back then, I was regarded as NOT applying myself), I think I would have gotten more education.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by taking care of myself.
I hope my true friends remember me as loyal, fun and dependable.
