Marilyn's Story
I met my wonderful husband, David Miller, in 1966, while he was stationed here at Tinker AFB, and we married when he returned from Viet Nam in October, 1968. He had orders for Germany coming out of Nam where we were stationed for 4 yrs. From there we were sent to Kansas, Texas, Turkey, and spent the rest of his military career at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. helby, 6. We live in Choctaw, OK. Dave retired from the Air Force and then began working with DHS Child Support Enforcement, retiring from there in 2006. I continued working for the State of Oklahoma at the Workers' Compensation Court until April of this year. We keep busy with our dogs (3), our country home on a lake, and the grandchildren. This all keeps us younger than a lot of people our age(who would have thought that we would start over with young children at our age?)and we are truly enjoying retirement and life.
