Marina's Story
I was an AFS Exchange student for the senior year at Harwich High. I came from a very small community on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. I was fairly shy as a teenager but my year on Cape Cod definitely brought me out of my shell.
I went back home and decided I couldn't stand any more study so went to work for the post office. I met Robert in 1980, married him in 1983 and have been with him since. h girls are living in Wellington (the capital of NZ), working and enjoying life.
Robert and I live in a suburb of Wellington (Tawa) and are enjoying the freedom of being on our own with the time and opportunity to do whatever we want to whenever we want to do it. We started to travel 6 years ago and plan to continue to do so.
When I hit my 40s I decided to get more mobile and am now a regular visitor of a gym and enjoy boxing. Robert found Zumba over the last 6 months and does classes 5 times a week.
Life just keeps getting better.
