Mario's Story
well ,after high school and a try at college,i recieved my draft notice.i decided to join the navy,i was shiped off to europe.i spent time in roda spain,naples italy and valetta malta.when back in the states i spent most of my leave time in ny city,staying with friends in brooklyn and long island.durning this time i met a young lady from nj,feel in love for the second time in my life ,and decided to get married.went to work as a carpenters apprentice in the city for one of my friends brothers from fla,but that didn,t work out.i then took the test for ma bell in ny and nj ,plus the utility companys ,and the first to call me was nj and i have been with them 39 yrs,now its verizon.i have three great kids,my oldest is my son who is no...Expand for more
w 35,and i have two beautifull daughters one 32 and married ,and one 30 ,and getting married this year,also my son is finally getting married this year,i have a grand son who i love dearly and another on the way.i was there in jersey city when the planes hit the twin towers ,saw the second plane go in.my youngest daughter lost her best friend that day,and a mom and dad lost a beautifull daughter.i have seen a lot ,and done a lot more,but it all comes down to hard work and love of family.i also belong to the n.y.p.d. emerald socity as a friend, which i enjoy greatly.i enjoy this classmates,talking to friends and catching up on old times.never had time for this before.its good for the heart to say hello and remember the good times.
