Mario's Story
After graduating from Whitney, I attended and graduated from Stanford University in 1984 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I am married and have five children. I am a born again believer and a Reformed Presbyterian. I am currently a Software Engineer working in the field of Electronic Intelligence (ELINT).
In high school, I ran cross country and track. My speciality in track was the 330 yard low hurdles. I took many science and math classes. I pretty much got along with all the clicks at Whitney.

's passing. He was an great coach and teacher. I very much miss Mr. Shahzade. I have many great memories of the classes I took with him. My uncle Ben Sandoval was the Assistant Principal when I graduated from Whitney. He also passed away some years ago. He was a great influence in my life.
My fondest memories from High School include:
Attending track meets with Warren Keyes, Jesse Garcia, Michael Simmons and many other track friends
All the classes that Mr. Shahzade taught and the very special people that I got to know in those classes
