Mario's Story
Life
Hi, I'm Mario Stanton. Those of you who went to school with me might know me as "Wet Chicken", "G-Mack", "G-Sharp" or any of the other corney monikers that I had in high school. Some might just know me as "that weirdo" or "the only black guy in my class". Anyway, I've had such an adventurous time after high school. I would give you details but, that would take up too much space and might require the reader of this bio to undergo years of therapy after reading. So, if you want to know about what has been going on in my world, you'll have to e-mail me. Right now, I have an exciting career as an EMT-Firefighter. I've been married for 4 wonderful years to a very wonderful woman. I don't have any children but, my wife and I just started trying (planned). Well, just contact me if you want to communicate. Peace!
School
In high school, I've had many good times. I was involved in many different activities. I was cool with alot of people of all backgrounds. My best high school experience was a toss up between the Peer Counseling retreat, the Peer Teaching retreat and th...Expand for more
e marching band's trip to the Orange Bowl in 1992. My favorite teachers were the late great Mrs. Carol Richardson, Mrs. Teresa Mullins, and Mr. Doug Hoover. My best high school friend were Truman Nelson, Javon Griffin, Scott Brady, Larry Gidon, Romale, Mike Johnson, and Makiba Smith. My greatest achievement in high school was becoming president of AEMS. I went straight to college after high school but, didn't finish due to personal and financial troubles.
College
Hello. I am an alum from SMSU home of the Bears and the 18 or so cpuntry music stations that I had to choose from. My stay at SMSU was a short one because I didn't have the money to finish. I had many fond memories of SMSU and some not-so-fond. All in all, it was a great school. While I was there, I stayed in Blair-Shannon the first year and New Hall the second and third years. I was a member of RHA and was floor president 2 years in a row. I've hosted numerous spades parties in my room and actully slept out on the roof of New Hall one spring night. If there is anyone out there from SMSU, give me a holla.
