Marion's Story
I have retired from Boeing. Moved to Magnolia Trace a retirement community as an independent resident living in a cottage. In 2004 we were competitive dancers on the country circuit and won a Worlds Championship in the gold open division. Shortly after both knees were replaced. We still dance regularly but not able to complete. The photo is taken on the Queen Mary on our 55th wedding anniversary. Susan and I renewed our vows. We have returned to normal living. We are teaching dance classes for the residents. We visited our younger daughter in Bossier. We Unfortunately we had to cancel 4 cruises. One is planned for September 2023 on the Queen Mary.
Unfortunately we had to cancel all cruises. Went to granddaughter’s wedding in March in Blacksburg Virginia. We start teaching our next dance classes on January 23. 10 couples have signed up. Sitting home waiting for snow to pass.
