Lewis's Story
After I graduated in 1965, I married my sweetheart, Betty on July 1st, 1965. We set up housekeeping in Fox Trailer Village with not much money. you didn't know, wouldn't think I had one. All three of my children went to college and started to raise their own families. I have 6 Grandchildren I love dearly. In 1998, my wife, Betty, was told she had an eye melanoma and she had to have it removed. I retired early in 2000 to fight this cancer with her. We finally lost our battle in August of 2006 when she passed away. It's been hard without her, but my Children and grandchildren give me strength. I do a good amount of traveling now. Some with family and some alone. We enjoyed traveling together and I know she wouldn't want me to stop just bacause she wasn't here.
