Life......
it's been 13 years I updated my profile! Guess it's time!
My husband, Robert (Highland, 1966), and I have been married for 38 years and we have one son, Jesse, age 28. My husbands's son, 50, lives in Washington, and his daughter, 45, lives in Boise, They each have 2 sons. Sadly, we don't get to see them very often, since we moved to New Hampshire 28 years ago.
We moved to New Hampshire in February of 1994 and we love it here. We are 1 hour north of Boston and 10 minutes from Hampton Beach, NH. We visit Salt Lake often, as all of our family is still there. In fact, 2 of my brothers still live in Kearns, and their kids went to the same elementary school that I went to, Western Hills and the one has now graduated from Kearns High School.

Most of my free time is taken up with volunteering as a member of The Exeter Area General Federation of Women's Club (GFWC). I recently finished a 2-year term as club president and I am now serving on GFWC New Hampshire's board as chair for their Public Policy, Public Affairs, and Women's History committee. I've made many wonderful friends in the community through my involvement with GFWC. I attended GFWC International Conventions in Las Vegas and Denver and made many new friends from all around the country. I was also fortunate enough to represent New Hampshire in Denver at GFWC's Leadership Conference.
One of my newest roles with EAGFWC is as the designated Penguin Plunge participant. I've participated for 3 years now in the NH Special Olympics Penguin Plunge. It's usually held on Super Bowl Sunday at Hampton Beach, NH. Yes, that's in February. Yes, it's wicked cold. And YES, it's for a great cause!!
