Marji's Story
I have been widowed since March of 2006. I have 5 wonderful children, and 7 very active grandchildren that definitely keep me on my toes, but I love it.
I am currently working as an Administrative Assistant for an employment agency. We search for employment for people with disabilities. These people deserve jobs just as much as you and I, we just try to help them out. It is a long process, but it is very rewarding to find them work, and to make them feel important and to see that smile on their faces. It is also very rewarding for me, as it gives me confidence and helps me to get out into the public, and to find new friends, and occupy my mind with new things.
I am now in the time of my life where I am ready to find that companionship and happiness in that special someone. Whether it be a special friend, or possibly something more intimate. In a man, I am looking for someone that is honest, fun and real... A man who is confident, secure and comfortable with himself. Personally, to me a sense of humor goes a long way. I am looking for someone to move on with, and maybe to complete my life. I miss that feeling of butterflies in my stomach when talking with that special someone.
To me the most important things in my life are my God, my health, my family, kids, and grand kids, Eventually if I find my soul mate, he will be at the top of my list.

n, caring, understanding, communication, honesty, consideration and being passionate. I'd like my partner to be comfortable enough to show his emotions and affections in public. I am a very touchy feely person, I am a snuggle bug, looking for a teddy bear to cuddle with.
I believe in monogamy. I give my all when I love someone. I don't believe in playing any mind games, life is too short for that and it hurts too much.
In our free time, my ideal match and I would spend time together going for walks, a picnic, movie, dinner, dancing, flea markets, motorcycles, go for a drive in the country, sit by the fireplace and cuddle, cooking out, weekend getaways, talk, laugh, and just have a great time doing everything together.
I think chemistry is something that could possibly happen right away, like love at first sight. On the other hand, I believe you can start by building a foundation and growing from there. If there is anything to happen, it will build over time. You sometimes just have to take it a day at a time and be patient.
The keys to a lasting relationship are love, honesty, communication, sharing, caring, compassion, passion, loving to spend time together. Lasting relationships are not a 50/50 thing; you have to give that extra percentage for it to work out. Chemistry will happen along the way if there is anything to be at all. You can never give enough in a relationship; there is always room for more...
