George (Jeep)'s Story
Going back to 1961.....got married,we had a daughter and a son .........because I raced motorcycles,moved to Jacksonville,FL....closer to
the race tracks:dirt tracks and road race tracks.....
I was successful at both types of racing.
In 1964 got drafted into the ARMY.....
became a Military Police (MP).
After my time serving my country, returned to motorcycle racing, I rode for the HONDA Factory for
Road Racing, and Harley-Davidson for dirt track.
Got a divorce,....continued racing............
I went to work for a motorcycle parts and
accessories company....they ...Expand for more
also sponsored me in racing.
Retired from racing at the end of 1979 after
winning several Eastern Championships in RoadRacing and Dirttracks.
I went to work for Votran,thepublis transportation
system for Volusia County(Daytona Beach area)
and retired in 1996.
I travelto the mountains for a breath of fresh air,
my wife,who still works, (6 years younger)
thought I should get a job, so being agreeable,
I went to work for the Ritchey Cadillic,Buick,GMC Dealer...
as a Transport driver,I work 2-3 days a week.
I go as far away as Chicago,and to South Florida.
