Marjorie's Story
Service is the price you pay for the space you occupy. This is the message that I share daily with everyone that meet. .After graduating from Campbell Senior High I attended Daytona State College and received my degree in Business Administration. I purchased my home at 122 South Keech Street at the age of 21. I married my husband and we have 2 children Kimberly Crump Mount and Arthur A. Crump. I have traveled extensively. I went to Rome, Italy and I visited the Vatican in the year 2000 during the Holy Season. I also visited Pisa and Venice and Germany...
I was appointed by Joshua Wagner and Joyce Cusack and Jason Davis of the Volusia County Council to serve on The Human Service and The Children & Service Boards. epresent Daytona Beach, Midtown.. I received a plaque from the committee thanking me for working in collaboration with the Project Advisory Committee. I served as President of the Daytona Beach Volusia County. was NAACP and worked with the organization for over 35 years. I was selected as a leader of the Black Community by the Daytona Times Newspaper. I was selected as an Outstanding Woman of America and received a plaque and was featured in the newspaper.I serve on the Bethune Cookman-University Women's Advisory Board.. I serve on the Save our Neighborhood Board.
I received a letter from the White House from President.
Barack Obama and Michelle Obama wishing me Happy Birthday and thanking me for all my accomplishments and all the lives that I have touched. I also received an autographed picture of President Barack Obama on my Birthday Janaury 11, 2016.
