Marjorie's Story
Marjorie ( Margie ) has lived in Canton Michigan with her husband Dave for almost 20 years. Four years before moving to Canton she lived in Grantfork,, Illinois in a log house at the edge of a woods and enjoyed one of her lifelong dreams. Before Illinois she and Dave were busy raising four lovely daughters in Allen Park. All their girls are married and busy with their families. Dave and Margie enjoy visiting with them all and being with their 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dave and Margie spent their first few months of marriage in Fayetteville, North Carolina . After returning to Michigan they started their family. Besides keeping busy with the girls Margie spent a few years working at various jobs at The Henry Ford when it was better known as The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. dy switch grammatical gears and come over to first. I still enjoy writing but computers and techy devices make it way more fun and lots easier. I love playing the Autoharp and the mountain dulcimer and I’m just,starting to learn hammered dulcimer. I have doodled around with banjo and guitar. Right now a shoulder destroyed by arthritis prohibits most musical pursuits. My two fake knees seems to help in a wonderful way and a new shoulder is also successful. Dave still works. He has his own company which supports the modern steel industry. If he ever really retires we would like to drive across the country ion US 12 in our 1966 Thunderbird. My big regret in regard to Classmates is that I can't remember many names. One would think that with such a big class as Cody 1965 that I would remember more. I would love to hear from any of my former classmates from Coolidge, E E Bass Jr High, Greenville High School, Greenville Mississippi or Cody High in Detroit.
