marry in a civil ceremony on June 28, 2013 here in France. Our church wedding will take place exactly one year later, June 28, 2014. (Let us know if you want to come!) Never married before - no children, but I do have one nearly 12-year-old "almost-stepson". We live in the countryside, surrounded by crop fields and animal pastures. The stone home that we live in is hundreds of years old with stables, wood sheds, garage, a huge old stone barn, a green house, rabbit hutches, and hen house. (No animals thus far, but I've a hankering for some chickens, & either a full-size or mini donkey or mini horse. I'd also love a Clydesdale. Negotiations are still in process with the fiance - will let you know how that turns out! LOL!!!) Our property is large with many fruit & nut trees, & many flowers. Really, it's lovely here. The weather is temperate being fairly close to the sea, and the landscape stays green pretty much year-round. Spring here has been truly beautiful - so far temps are only in the low 70's at the highest. We're about 3 hours from Paris.
