Mark's Story
Life
After high school, I joined the Navy. Upon completion of boot camp in San Diego, I was stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for 4 years. From there, I completed a tour in Tampa. While there, I met my future wife (Juli) in 1989 and we married in 1992. From Tampa, we completed a short tour in Orlando. Then, we were off to Key West for 3 years. e since (1996) stationed at various duty stations in the area. Our second daughter, Kaitlyn, was born in 2000. The Navy has really been a great thing for me. I worked my way up the enlisted ranks and was selected for an officer program in which I was commissioned in Mar 2003. I completed 23 years of Naval service in September 2008...what a party...and I'm planning to remain in there until I reach 30 years and retire in Sep 2015...Did I mention...what a party!!
