Mark's Story
Left Grove around Christmas of 78. Joined the Navy and served 7 years at sea and decided to get out. Seen a lot of the world and traveled for many years. Got a job as a computer repair person in 85. Been in the computer field since.
Now I work for a government agency and run a crew of 8 people. I have seen a lot and learned a lot over the years. It amazes me how people I grew up with still see me as the same person.. Man have they got it all wrong..

remember much about high school which I guess is good since I do not live in the past. I ran into an old school mate a couple of years ago and he was working at Wal-mart in Grove. I asked him what has he done with his life and his response was nothing... What a shame.. I know I was the last person anyone seen as successful. But I have 10 grandchildren (2 living in grove) and make a very good living and have no regrets.. To me that is success!
