Mark's Story
Life
I`ve lived in JAPAN for around 26 years (Osaka). I teach university and elementary school classes, ride my bicycle, camp, cook, scuba dive and tend to a zillion plants. I get back to FDL in the spring about once a year. I listen to Snow Patrol, Bowling for Soup, BNL, REM, Rob Thomas, and my iPod`s about maxed out with these and just about everything else but opera and the Star Spangled Banner (if you don`t count Jimmy`s version, that is).

I also admire people who have had the courage and acumen to open their eyes and turn their life around for the better, like an acquaintance who had spend some time in jail on more than one occasion and is now a husband, father, coworker and friend all are proud of.

For the most part, TV is truly an idiot box.
