Mark's Story
After high school, joined the Army. My knees gave out during basic training, so that was pretty much over. Went to DeVry in Phoenix, AZ and graduated from the Electronic Technician program in 1978. A lot of different jobs over the years, and I've been doing printed circuit board layout for the past 15 years. Went through a bit of a health scare about 2 years ago with prostate cancer. d for 10 years in August. Went on a 15-day cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to San Francisco via the Panama Canal. Stopped in Montego Bay, Jamaica; Cartagena, Columbia; transitted the Panama Canal; stopped in Puntarenas, Costa Rica, stopped in Huatulco, Mexico, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas; then, 2 days at sea to get to San Francisco. In all, an amazing trip. Don't go swimming in the Tarcoles River, as there are lots of crocodiles there.
