Mark & Ina (Cox) Clanton:  

Life Ina has worked off and on for 14 years in the MHMR field with adult mentally handicapped. We have a ward, Fred, 49, who has mental retardation and Down's Syndrome. He lives in a Group Home and visits us on weekends. It has to be the highlight of our adult life along with our grandchildren. Mark teaches Special Ed at a local Middle School. He served 30 yrs in the USAF and retired as a Chief MSgt. We met while he was at Loring. We celebrated our 1st Anniversary in Oct. '69, Traci our first born, came on Dec. 11 and he had a year remote in Galena, Alaska, we spent 2 years at Mather AFB, in Sacramento where Jennifer was born. Mark taught at the Air Force Academy and was the only enlisted instructor on the Faculty. We loved Colorado Springs and considered retiring there. We spent 4 years in Panama City, FL. I went back to work and college. Transferred again '80 to Randolph AFB and love San Antonio. Mark was offered a great job in Japan were we stayed 3 years at Yokota.
