Mark's Story
Hey Gang,. I've lived in Ruston, Louisiana for 35 years. After coaching in high school for 10 years, I opened my own business. Its a trophy, award, and sportscard business. I am celebrating my 31st year in businees this year (2018). I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I still play baseball in a mens senior league in shreveport and enjoy that very much. For the past ten years, I have also done alot of radio here locally. I am the color analyst for the Ruston High football broadcast and am on a sports talk show with our local Fox Sports affiliate 97.7 FM called The Sports Company. The show is on from 3-6 everyday and it is streamed on the internet and on smart phones with a free app called Red Peach Sports.. Give me a listen. . y-play guy for Louisiana Tech Baseball. Was able to announce the CUSA Tournament and a regional that was held at Mississippi St. . I pray that all you guys are as happy and healthy. Also, am thrilled that they have a Foulois group from my wonderful days in Maryland. Those years at Foulois were the best of my school life. So sad that us military kids get so scattered and lose touch. All of us that started that first year in 1968 that voted on school colors and mascot have a special bond. Remember practicing basketball outside because the gym wasnt finished. All of you that were my friends meant so much to me. The reunion last year was more than awesome. The tour of the school by the present principal was equally awesome! Bummed that at some point the school colors changed from our original black & gold. Let me here from you guys, all you former Falcons!!
