Mark's Story
I live a life of wonder. I wonder through the ages trying to learn what life is, is it happiness or is it pain. I have been living in a life of both. Happiness is meeting and marrying my wife, the birth of my three sons, enjoying the satisfaction and pride of a job well done. I found happiness in the simple things of this world. The ripple from a drop of water in a still lake, the shapes of clouds, the beauty of the sunset and sun rise. I see the happiness of my children using their imagination in every day life, I feel the pride in their ac...Expand for more
complishments, and I am proud. But there is also pain in my life, the cancer attacking my body to the point of certain death. The hundreds of painful tests, the fear I imposed into my family's eyes and hearts. I some how pulled through only to feel the pain of the after affects. Fibromyalgia, brittle bones, surgeries to allow me walk again. removing parts of my lung. the hardship of not being able to play with my child and the sadness on his face. I don't ask for pity the question is how my life is then and now, and I simply telling my story.
