Mark's Story
Tony Tanke and I recently had the honor of debating whether Jim Sauer was a better debate coach or a better teacher. Jim retired this year after 44 years of teaching at Central. It was great fun to connect again with Tony and salute Jim as one of Central's best!
My wife Joyce and I returned to La Crosse in 1991. My son, Andrew, graduated from Central in 1997 and my daughter, Rachel, graduated in 1999.

ition in Houston, MN as the Special Education Coordinator for Online Schools. It's been an interesting three years and I am looking forward to next year(s?) too.
Online education is really an exciting and new way for students to learn. I hope to make a positive contribution to this developing field and find ways to help students with disabilities successfully participate in online schools.
We still love LaCrosse. It was recently voted one of the top 10 places to live. It continues to feel like home.
