Mark's Story
Life
It is hard to believe that it has been 25 years since I graduated from ACHS. Where has the time gone? Reflecting back on the last 25 years is probably what has brought me to this website. I was not only curious what names I would see on here but also what everyone is doing today. In 1981, I left Roselle to move to Tampa FL to attend the University of South Florida. I graduated from USF with a degree in Computer Science and an MBA. I worked in Tampa until 1996 at which time I moved to Raleigh NC where I am employed as a Project Manager in the IT field. Most of my family still lives in New Jersey but all have moved from Roselle. I drove through Roselle three years ago while visiting to reflect on my past and my days at ACHS. ld as we knew it in 1977 has changed considerably. We all received a quality education from quality instructors who were dedicated to their profession. It would be difficult to find dedicated professionals in schools today such as Mr Tarlowe, Mr. Keller, Mr. Dohner, Ms. Stefan, Mrs. Bradley, Mrs. Tedesco, Mr. Kelly and countless others who should be commended for their fine work in giving us the best education possible. I feel we had an advantage that many young people today will never experience. In these times of educational budget cuts and school security concerns we are very fortunate for our educational experiences at ACHS. Our experiences at ACHS and in life during the time period in which we grew up have shaped us into the adults that we have become and can be used as a model for our children and all those that we touch in our lives in todayÂs world.
