Mark's Story
Life
I've been married since 1986 (I met my wife-to-be on our second day at Virginia Tech). We have two kids (twins, a boy and a girl).
I graduated from Virginia Tech (B.S. Electrical Engineering, 1986) and went to grad school at Washington University in St. Louis (M.S. Electrical Engineering, 1991).
We've lived in Portland, Oregon since 1992 where I work as an engineering manager for a semiconductor company ...Expand for more
that designs transmitter chips to go in cell phones, PDAs, and other wireless devices.
I enjoy hiking, playing the piano, some running, swimming, and most of all cycling. I'm a hard-core "roadie" (although I do own one mountain bike). I've raced with a local team for a few years and enjoy road races and time trials (yes, even hillclimb TTs) the most. I'm hoping to make 2008 the season of my first triathlon...
