Worked construction engineering for highway bridge work, then found my wife at Mount St. Mary's. She is Bronx born but was transplanted to CT. Went into rehabilitation design of highway bridges, Worked in Westchester, NY and near New Haven, CT before Stratford, CT. Have a son and daughter that give me hope for the future (hope they pick a nice nursing home for me) Lived in Danbury and Watertown, CT before thinking there was an opportunity for me in PA. Now know it was a limited opportunity and eventually moved from near Reading, PA. (What is a mentor?) Now that our daughter graduated HS, we and moved to SC. Things are looking up now.
I hope people remember me as someone who could include everyone in the party, the discussion and fit into any group. Jock, nerd, motorhead, beach boy, like wearing a tie to work, love to travel, need a better golf swing, like being home when there is a good movie on. I would like to know if a majority of people thought they could count on me for my best effort.
The one person I wish I could see I cannot. Donna was my best friend in HS and when she passed, I never have been able to figure our relationship out.
Best job/project I ever had, my supervisor never promised me anything he did not deliver. But it also was for enginerering work at Shea and Yankee Stadia from '98 thru 2001. And yes I was in the visitors locker room during game 4 at Shea Stadium in 2000. That is when the standpipe leaked on the furniture they brought over from THE Stadium.
