Mark's Story
Life
Well another year has passed and we are all here! That is a GREAT thing. This year started out with a question of whether the family business was going to be a success or not and guess what? So far, it has been!
We have had a few UPs and DOWNs throughout the year, but that is normal for a Âfledgling business in its second year of existence. Mark and Danielle were able to go and attend the Disc Jockey Convention in Atlantic City NJ this year without their son Michael. They both learned a few good things to HELP the company grow as a whole, but best of all---WE had FUN! ÂI have never been on a vacation without my child remarks Danielle and Mark was Âhappy to be able to spend time with my wife ALONEÂ. Mark has upgraded his equipment to keep up with the demand for more digital music and Danielle has yet AGAIN transferred to another store (she has gone back to the Gainesville Va LoweÂs).
Danielle has opted to go to a far slower store to make sure she was able to handle the complexities of helping to raise an almost three year old with her husband. She also has the idea that it will help in her health by keeping her blood pressure down when dealing with management and trying to alleviate problems in her line of work.
Michael, on the other hand, has kept both parents and immediate family in check! He has surpassed the Âterrible ...Expand for more
twos and has progressed to the Âtrepidatious threesÂ. He has also turned into a very Âneedy child and wants EVERYBODY to pay attention to him when he is in the same room as anybody else. He is progressing as planned for his education and by the years end is TRYING to sing his ABCÂs. He can count up to seven by himself, with a little encouragement from others, and knows some of his opposites (near/far, up/down, loud/soft etc). He is beginning to Âenunciate his syllable more clearly and almost can hold down a clear conversation with someone. There are times when both Mark and Danielle look at each other and try to figure out what Michael has just said but then we just laugh it off because we donÂt speak toddler-eese.
Natasha (DanielleÂs daughter) has been very busy this year working two jobs still and trying to maintain a personal life also. She has a very nice boyfriend at the moment that is getting ready to graduate medical school hoping to lead a very fruitful career in Âtraumatic reconstructive surgery (no not a Âcosmetic plastic surgeon!!). She travels a lot back and forth visiting him in New York City.
So ALL in ALL, we have had a very GOOD year. We hope to have an even BETTER year in 2008.
May all your hopes and dreams come true for you and your family in the coming New Year.
