ts. when finally discharged from service I stayed in MD and got married and tried to learn to cope with the constant pain,in 98 it increased dramatically leading to second surgery, and more time spent learning to cope w/the pain again its been a rough 10 yrs. my leg gave out & I fell w/injury twice. broke left hand first time when fell off ladder, year later fell down stairs and tore right rotatorcuff and aggravated carpel tunnel in rt hand/ had surgery to clean up shoulder and cut tunnel to reduce pain and regain feeling in hand and on the 20th was diagnosed with tennis elbow; just what I needed to set back healing of the 2 surgeries, I've got a long list of stuff to get done to get caught up, not including the "honey do" list. Then I've fallen three more times in the past month and a half, luckily no apparent damage was done. I am much better off than some of the vets I've met who have come back from Iraq and Afghanistan, so I can't complain too much, when I do I just think of some of my new friends.
