Mark is one of the founders of PMOLink, LLC, a firm specializing in Project Management, Business Process Management and Knowledge Management solutions for business and government. After 10 years as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board, Mark sold his interest to his partner in April, 2010. Mark retired from the Navy in March, 1998 after 21 years of active duty service. He served as a Naval Flight Officer, with over 3500 flight hours as Tactical Coordinator/Mission Commander in the P-3 “Orion” antisubmarine warfare aircraft. Commander Johnson (Retired) is the former Commanding Officer of Patrol Squadron 94, located at the New Orleans Naval Air Station, and served two years as the Manning Control Authority on the Naval Reserve headquarters staff in New Orleans. He has performed Patrol Squadron operational tours in the Mediterranean Sea and the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans. Mark also served as a flight instructor and on headquarters staffs in the Pentagon and Norfolk, Virginia. He developed the RIMS-ADSW Order Writing System, an automated Transaction Processing, Decision and Executive Support System to identify and recruit qualified personnel to fill critical military jobs around the world. He also established the Air Warfare Local Area Network, a client-server local area network for 180 users on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations in the Pentagon. After retiring from the military, Mark was hired by Affiliated Computer Services (ACS). He was initially assigned as the Task Lead/Manager for the Joint Air Logistics Information System (JALIS), used for scheduling U.S. military logistics flights world-wide. In August 1998, Mark was assigned to the Defense Integrated Military Human Resource System (DIMHRS) team as Project Manager. On the DIMHRS program, he led a Led a group of 110 IT professionals in the development and integration of a multi-billion dollar personnel, and pay management system for all Department of Defense (DoD) military services and components. Mark holds a Masters of Science degree in Management from Troy State University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UCLA, and is a graduate of the Naval War College’s National Security Decision Making curriculum. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ARIS Professional (CAP), and a certified Primavera instructor. Mark received numerous personal and campaign awards and ribbons during his Naval service, including two awards of the Meritorious Service Medal. Mark lives in San Antonio with his wife Kerry. Mark’s oldest Son, Forrest, is currently serving in the Navy at the Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida where his younger brother, Perry, attends college. Kerry’s children, Benjamin and Bonnie, are attending college in New Orleans, LA and Tallahassee, FL, respectively.".
