Mark's Story
After High School, I enlisted in the US Navy and served on active duty for 5 years. Having established a residence in Va. Beach, VA, I decided to leave the armed forces in 1979, stay in Va Bch., and go to college. I worked a few odd jobs here and there while attending TCC. Two years later I was offered a postion in Federal Government working for DOD and I've been working for "Uncle Sam" since January 1981. eering position with the Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division and I moved to Maryland. I recently changed positions and I am currently a Program Manager for Navy acquisition programs within the Naval Air Systems Command at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Four more years and I'm eligible to retire - Ya HOO!!!
I have one daughter that lives in Germany. I am very proud of her accomplishments and great respect for her medical research. My son-in-law and daughter enjoy each other and life - what else could a father ask?
