After leaving Rincon I attended NAU where I met my wife Patti. We married in 1969 and I was subsequently drafted and spent a year in Vietnam.
After I was discharged we moved to Denver, CO. I attended the Univ. of Denver on the GI Bill majoring in Hotel, Restaurant Mgmt. I spent 4 years in the hotel industry as a Food & Beverage Director. We were transferred to Stockton, CA where I realized that a desk job wasn't for me. I took the civil service test and was hired by the Stockton Police Dept. I spent 15 years with SPD before I was injured during a drug bust and subsequently retired. Patti and I retired to the Las Vegas Valley where we currently live.
We have two children, Susie and Eric. and we have three grandchildren, Christyn 11, Conner 8, and Eli 2.
