Mark's Story
I'm currently teaching at a Central Coast high school in California. I am still in production hiatus with the production of my first film, "Moon Creek Cemetery" . Shot some opening sequences a few months ago, but nothing involving the remaining cast. My agent is trying to get some financing through distribution.
Go to my website "markapierceinc.com" and on the left hand side there are links that will take you to pages explaining about the production--cast.
Been married twice--to the same woman. Something to be said for sticking-to-itness. We have just moved into a lovely apartment that adjoins a county park. It makes you feel like you're in a timeshare, but you can stay year long.
Looking to make some great strides this year with MAP Inc. With my book publishing and the fundamentals of my consultant program worked out, I can hopefully ratchet up the engines of my business. han have kumbaya moments with student subgroups who are not academically proficient.
T.R.I.A.G.E. insists that negative connotations witihin school curriculum concerning members of certain racial groups have been skewed through aggregation into an ethnic notion that "others" are inferior. This ethos is quite strong in a good portion of the English canon. T.R.I.A.G.E. believes that teachers need to know the political and social effects of racial stratification upon their students, and help them to recognize how the threat of stereotype can occur in the learning environment. Then the teachers, in turn, can break down to the students what is arguably offensive about the tone of some reading material, and take teachable life moments with the class on the issue.
This will help African American, Latino, and Asian American students appreciate and trust their teachers and thereby gain buy-in to rigorous education. For White students and faculty, it will open up bridges to true cultural understanding of the nuances of race, and how they can mitigate improving conditions
