Mark's Story
Graduated OTHS and went to Hartt School of Music wanting to be a concert pianist but evolved into a jazz player instead. A natural evolution if you ask me.
I gigged in the tri-sate area for a few years before venturing out to LA where I did everything but play music. I got a series 22 to sell investments which led to meeting a writing partner and learning to write screenplays. I wrote Rodney Dangerfields last movie and was indirectly responsible for Frank Gorshin's one man George Burns show on Broadway.

and resumed my musical life teaching and performing. These days I'm working in the recording studio, I own my own booking agency, Metropolitanjazz.com and am exploring performing in Europe and abroad.
Never married (yes I'm straight) no kids but I do have a gorgeous niece, a bright nephew and an adorable grand nephew. So I get more than my share of kid energy - I simply have the luxury of returning them when I'm done playing with them.
That's me. I'm happy, healthy, irreverent and in a constant state of growth. The end? Not yet!
