Life
hello all. since leaving home in 1980, i've had little to no contact with anyone there. i guess this is my attempt to reconnect with old friends.
i was married for 21 yrs. divorced recently. i have 2 wonderful kids (young adults). son who's a chef in chicago and daughter at unf.
i served 20 1/2 yrs in the navy & retired in 2000. i've lived in coronado ca , norfolk va , panama city bch fl , oceanside ca , great lakes il , guantanamo bay cuba , mayport fl and pensacola fl.
upon retiring, i obtained a "master of oceans license". i presently work in the offshore oil industry and i'm still travelling. as i type this we are about to leave the ivory coast for portugal.
i usually work 6 weeks and then i'm off for 6. i enjoy my time off.
i still stay active by playing volleyball (indoor and beach), golf , running, working out , boating and i just bought a harley as a divorce gift to myself.
i'm still crazy, just no longer in a bad way.
i smoke (only cigs), drink (only when...Expand for more
i'm awake) , and cuss (only when warranted).
i'm no longer a fighter. i boxed for a few years but would much rather make people laugh. that's right. along this path we call life, i've found humor and like it.
i live in pensacola. great place. the beaches have the whitest sand and the water can have 4 different colors.
i could go on. i have about a thousand stories, and most of them are true.

i will close with a list of countries and islands i've been to. keep in mind, i've been to some nice places and some rat holes, but there is no place like the united states.
