Mark's Story
Life
After I graduated from high school I entered the business world in the restaurant and bar industry. The old saying goes to really know any business you have to start at the bottom and work your way up the ladder. Well if you call dish washing, bussing, cooking, hosting, bartending and waiting tables the bottom thats where I started and I held all of those jobs. I opened my first establishment in 1980. It was a partnership with my brother Gregg Roman class of 1970. We opened a small neighborhood bar on the east side of Detroit. e location was remodeled in 1984 and was renamed to Wooly Bullys. Gregg and I opened our second location in Clinton Township on Groesbeck south of Metropolitan Parkway in 1989. Sadly Gregg passed away in October of 1989. A third Wooly Bullys was opened in 1993. Maybe some of you have stopped in for a meal or a drink? I have two wonderful children, my son is fourteen years old and my daughter is eleven.I have been divorced since 2001.I stumbled on to this web sight and it seemed like a fun thing to do.I enjoy a new career in the real estate investment field. Golf, working out and my children keep me busy when I am not working.
