Mark's Story
Life
I have been a professional musician ever since getting a music degree at UNC CH. I supplement my income by doing woodwork (both carpentry and shopwork) and make wooden bowls that have been displayed at some local art galleries. I just got married in Oct. 2004, and just got back from a "honeymoon" visiting family in Denmark and Germany (a real honeymoon to some exotic location is still pending).

I work together musically with many of the old Squirrel Nut Zippers most notably Don Raleigh who writes the music for the band Jackie O. Pillbox, and Tom Maxwell and Ken Mosher who I played with in the Minor Drag. I have also played along with Portastatic, Flyin' Mice, WAKE, Micro East Collective, Randy Pelosi, and many others. My main instruments are guitar, vibraphone, drumset, percussion, organ and piano. I have to go to work so I will make this better later. Bye!
