Mark's Story
After graduation, for 3 years I did what I thought I would do for the rest of my life, I farmed. After 3 years I had a fortunate opportunity to re-evaluate my life and change my direction and goals. I went to Purdue, was commissioned as an Ensign in the Navy, and became a Naval Aviator. After 10 years on active duty, I separated and was hired as an airline pilot. In addition to flying, my wife and I started a youth football team, we then helped another school start a team, then a third, then we helped create a youth football conference, which is still going strong 19 years later. I also ran for State Legislature in Ohio many years ago. While I was unsuccessful, I certainly learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. For those of you who knew me in high school, this is a vast departure from who I was back then, Life is truly amazing.
