Mark's Story
Moved all across the country as a child, not worth explaining.
Freshman and Sofmore Year, Las Vegas NV. Junior Year Larkin High, Elgin ILL. I arrived at GK High during my Senior year. The last semester I only needed GYM/PT to graduate. I rode a Red Honda Motorcycle to school about lunch time and left about 2 hours later.
Moved to South Elgin, Il during the summer of 1973. Lived worked and rented a room close to the quarry for about 4 years. Took some classes at Elgin Community College. Joined the Navy in 1976. Got married to Kathleen Donlevy (Elgin IL) in 1977. Moved to Orlando Florida 1977 and had our first child. Moved to SanDiego in 1978. Moved to Bremerton Wa in 1979 then back to San Diego. d had two more children. Joined the Georgia Air National Guard and have been working there ever since. We are still in the house we bought in 1984 on Burns Road. It and the cars we drive are all paid for. I've done significant improvements over the last 30 years to make it comfortable. It has enough battery power in the garage to run for more than a day without power, haven't needed it yet. (Fridge too.) We have moved up to Comcast cable with 105Mbits Internet. (With all the hype I was worried, but they have provided everything promised and more.) I am working on building enough solar reserves to maintain my 7KWH batteries. (I am about half way there.)
It's difficult to remember more than maybe 10 people of my school years. Most of the names and pictures don't ring any bells.
