Mark's Story
wanted to be a paramedic, took courses at Rio Hondo, applied, 1200 applicants for 20 openings, Rated 60 on 100 man waiting list, first 20 hired. 10 points for being a veteran. Joined US Navy, guaranteed A-school Hospital Corpsman. After training did 6 month ward duty, then ER, then transferred the Naval air station Point Mugu where I did in flight medical in Search and Rescue on CH-46 helocopters. d Fullerton College, did pre-requisites for PA program at USC, accepted and graduated, went abroad to work with military industrial complex. Met English wife at Vicars and Tarts party 6000 foot elevation Assir mountains of Saudi Arabia. After a bit of travel and seeing unique locations for reasons that helped the USA, (no further info), settled in the UK. Work as a NP and PA here. Getting older, starting to feel it.
