Life Just after school joined the Navy and spent 8 years traveling to countries like Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Kenya, Lebannon and many more. 29 countries in all and got paid to do it. Then I moved to Hollywood CA and have stayed there for 16 years where I find myself trapped trying to make enough money to just pay bills. The last few years, I bought a house just a little south of Hollywood just so I can struggle even more just to pay the morgage instead of paying for rent. I look at it this way. The home was worth 350K when I bought it. Now its worth 550K. If I sell now I profit 200K. Oopps! Didn't figure a drop in home prices. Now my home is worth less than I owe. Ouch.
