Mark's Story
Life
I have worked in the Industrial Engineering field for more than 25 years and have run my own custom furniture making business. I have produced most of my own furniture for my home as well as for others. I have designed an Cherry-picking awaqrd group of furniture for Cochrane Furniture at the 1982 Spring High Point Furniture Show. I have most recently designed and implemented several manufacturing lines to make shifter assemblies for the Nissan Maxima and Altima Sport, Mitsubishi Galant, Subaru Outback/Legach, and Cadillac CTS, SLR, SRX, and XLR.
I have been married to Sandra L. Steinke (1968) for 33 year...Expand for more
s. Sandy works as a Medical Transcriptionist at the local hospital in the Pathology Department. We have two children:
Jennifer (22) now Mrs. Jeremy Parker was Valedictorian of her HS graduating class in 2001 and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Union University in 2005. Her degree is in Vocal Music Education.
Christopher was Valedictorian of his HS graduating class in 2004 and is now enrolled at Union University as a Biblical studies major in Ancient Languages with plans of becoming a college professor.
My hobbies are building an HO model railroad and building an occasional piece of furniture and wooden toys.
